OPERATION SALUTE 2010

Holiday Meal Program:

                This program provides Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner to our Veterans.

Memorial Flag Posting Program:  

                 This program provides grave site flags placed at the grave of all veterans at two adopted cemeteries.  This program gets our youth out to help place the flags and the opportunity to teach the meaning of Memorial Day and the price paid for liberty.

Memorial Ride to D.C.:                

                 This program is a ride to Arlington to pay respect to the fallen heroes of our country.  We travel across the country from Utah to D.C. with stops  to teach patriotism and promote our foundation culminating with wreath laying ceremonies at monuments in the D.C. area.  We will also participate in Rolling Thunders demonstration to help bring awarness to the POW/MIA cause.

Holiday Package Program: 

                    This program sends packages to our troops overseas at Christmas time.            

Scholarship Program:

                   This program gives a donation to the 173d Airborne Brigade Association Scholarship Fund in memory of Sgt. Michael Lehmiller each year.  This scholarship is awarded in memory of the 173d comrades that sacrificed their lives for our country.  We ask that you take time to reflect about and learn about our heroes and “THE HERD.”

Youth Teaching Program:

                    This program teaches our youth about the history of our flag, our country and our military services.  We use the opportunity at our events with Operation Salute to teach the next generation of this great country.

 Sub For Santa Program:

                    This program provides funds for Sub For Santa each year to the American Legion and VFW organizations who provide Christmas for those military families less fortunate.

Heroes Program:

                    This program provides funds to build memorials that honor our countries heroes and bring awareness to our citizens and our youth. We place a field of 3ft x 5ft flags each year to honor and teach.  

The Dan G. Dolan Memorial Ride and Veterans Appreciation Festival: 

                     In memory of SPC Dan G. Dolan, from Roy, Utah.  This all day event will be to honor all U.S. Veterans as well as raise funds for Operation Salute Programs.  The ride, on July 31, 2010, will begin in Riverdale, Utah and end in Layton, at which time the Veterans Appreciation Festival will begin.  You don't have to ride a motorcycle to attend or support this event.  For more information, go to www.DansRide.org
